HOST: Teesside Socialist Clothing Bank
The concept of The Street Store was founded in South Africa in January 2014 to provide the homeless with a place to do free retail shopping with clothes donated by the local community. The pop up Street Store doesn’t just help to clothe the homeless, but also gives them the retail experience of choosing their own garments with the same dignity as customers who can pay.
